Properties

  • Based on a water-based silane-siloxane mixture
  • Non film-forming
  • Reduces the water absorption
  • Increases the resistance against frost and de-icing salts
  • Application by roller, flow coating or airless spraying
  • Suitable for use in spray- and splash zones of de-icing salts
  • Penetration depth according to EN 1504 part 2, class I
  • Can be overcoated with MC-Color Proof pure, MC-Color Proof pro, MC-Color Proof vision, MC- Color Flair pure, MC-Color Flair pro and MC-Color Flair vision
  • Tested and approved as OS 1 and OS 2 surface protection system
  • Does not provide a lotus effect

Applications

  • Hydrophobic impregnation for alkaline, cement-bound surfaces, e.g. concrete, rendering, sand-lime brick
  • Hydrophobic impregnation for concrete repair mortars
  • In combination with coating materials as preventive concrete protection
  • REACH-assessed exposure scenarios: periodical water-contact, periodical inhalation, application
  • Certified according to EN 1504 part 2 for principles 1, 2 and 8; procedures 1.1, 2.1 and 8.1
