On November 14th, MC-Bauchemie Chile hosted the fourth edition of MC-FEST, an event that has gained recognition as one of the most anticipated gatherings of the year in the construction industry in Chile. This year’s celebration had a dual purpose: commemorating 9 years of MC-Bauchemie’s presence in Chile and bringing together prominent industry leaders for a day filled with innovation, learning, and camaraderie.

More than 100 guests from leading companies in the construction industry, such as Echeverría Izquierdo, Ingevec, VSL, Strabag, EFE, Melón, Polpaico, and Chile’s Ministry of Public Works, actively participated in the event. Representatives from these organizations not only strengthened their ties with MC-Bauchemie but also explored new technological solutions that are reshaping construction practices in Chile and beyond.

Demonstration Arena: Innovation in Action

One of the highlights of MC-FEST was the demonstration arena, where attendees experienced firsthand the capabilities and applications of some of MC-Bauchemie’s most innovative products. The most acclaimed presentations included:

  • Centrament Recycle P: A revolutionary solution for the concrete industry, capable of transforming returned or leftover fresh concrete into recyclable resources, reducing waste, and delivering economic and environmental benefits.
  • MC-Proof DF 9: An advanced liquid waterproofing compound designed for building projects, ideal for wet areas and high-water exposure.
  • Emcekrete 100: A robust and reliable high-performance grouting mortar that can be applied amongst others in the construction of wind turbine towers, providing strength and durability for renewable energy projects.
  • MC-Montan Injekt: An innovative grouting system for soil consolidation, essential for stabilising ground conditions in tunnelling, waterproofing and strengthening foundations in underground car parks and other buildings and supporting deep foundations and retaining walls.

 

These demonstrations not only showcased the technical capabilities of MC-Bauchemie’s products but also opened a space for dialogue with company experts, who answered questions of the attendees and shared tailored recommendations.

A Festive Experience to Remember

MC-FEST wouldn’t be complete without its festive spirit. This year, attendees enjoyed a unique gastronomic experience, featuring a menu of German delicacies including Currywurst and delicious "Berliners", along with a diverse selection of German beers, that paid tribute to MC-Bauchemie’s German roots. The event was further enlivened by entertaining hosts who kept the energy high and fun contests, where guests enthusiastically participated, winning prizes and special souvenirs to remember the day.

9 Years of Innovation and Commitment in Chile

The celebration of 9 years of MC-Bauchemie in Chile provided the perfect moment to reflect on the milestones achieved and reaffirm the company’s commitment to sustainability, quality, and innovation. Since its arrival in the country, MC-Bauchemie has worked tirelessly to deliver cutting-edge solutions that contribute to the growth of the construction sector.
